TAKE 2: CAMERA, SET, and ACTION!!!!!

This is something I’ve been thinking about for a while now (Actually since this past Friday He he!). See how in the movies when a scene get’s messed up the Director yells for the actors to do another take of the scene just so they can get it right. I figure that it’s kind of the same way with life. Our lives are the movies we are making, we are the directors and redoing a scene is an attempt to correct a mistake that has been done. Sometimes our errors in judgement, or those of the people around us, seem so big that we just want to shoot somebody! And all the while you are thinking, ‘Heck no! I’d never do that’. But life isn’t a clothing store. See in a clothing store you are likely to find some article of clothing that anyone can fit in (one size fits all). But that’s not how things really go down. The same situation is always handled differently by different people. Sometimes for the better, but sometimes for the worse. So this makes me believe that life is like a shoe-store. A place where we all need the same shoe, but we will have to get it in different sizes just so it fits.

Face it, we ARE human, we are NOT perfect, we WILL make mistakes. Even biblically speaking, Romans 3:10 says that ‘As it is written: "There is no one righteous, not even one; Better to get that into your head now and stop blaming yourself or somebody else for a mess that’s been made. Time is linear so once something’s been done, it’s done (Unless you have a time machine stashed somewhere in your house! He he!). The only thing you can change/control is how you deal with the future. What you do after you’ve fallen flat on your face in the dust. That’s what counts. I don’t know about you but I’d personally get up, shake off the dust and keep moving. Sure beats wallowing in self-pity. So you start by acknowledging the problem, and then forgiving yourself and others because if He can do it, why can’t we? (Psalms 86:5-7 NKJV - For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You.) Besides, we all know how it feels like when you become a social pariah because of some stupid random screw-up.

So, hopefully you’ll have the courage and the wisdom to look at your life, get over whatever messed up situation is holding you back, and start anew. TAKE 2: CAMERA, SET, and ACTION!!!!!
