Trust me, I’m no expert

I can’t tell you that it’s all going to go away. That whatever situation you’re going through will be miraculously resolved by morning. I can’t promise you that if you pray hard enough that the tide will eventually turn in your favour. Let’s be honest people! Sometimes God says ‘No’. Just because you want something to happen that doesn’t mean that He wants it to. You know every time that you say the Lord’s Prayer and you reach that part for ‘Thy will be done on Earth as it is in heaven’; well that’s for real. Because God’s will may not always be the same as your will, and God’s will trumps your will on any given day, so yeah, His will will be done! But the beautiful thing is that His will keeps our well-being in mind. It works to build us up not to tear us down.

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

And sometimes the things that build us up aren’t always the things that we want.

So right now, whatever situation you may be going through, my only advice is:

Matthew 6:25-34
25 “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?
28 “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Because He really does always come through. You may not see it right now; you may not feel it right now. But He does always come through! In big ways and small too! And we’ve just got to take it one day at a time.
   Ciao!!!
